Why hire a safety professional? You are a professional in your business we are professionals in the business of safety. Complying with government regulations can seem impossible however we've mastered the system. You will sleep much better knowing that you are not only complying with regulations, you can prove it with documentation. Most will agree that an independent, third party, adds a degree of professionalism in any field of business. How much does hiring a safety professional cost? That depends entirely on what services you need. Our hourly fees are much less if you have an annual contract with us. How does an annual contract work? You purchase a certain amount of hours from us to be used anytime during the contract year. The hours can be used for training, safety audits etc., depending on your needs. You make monthly payments based on the number of hours purchased. Why purchase an annual contract? Flexibility and a lower rate are the two biggest advantages. You can use the hours any time of the year depending on work load, weather etc. Our lowest rates are reserved for those who wish to purchase an annual contract. What are your rates? Rates vary depending on the duration of project, location of project & scope of work. What insurance coverages do you have?
Certificates of insurance will be faxed upon request How far do you travel? Continental United States Do you have experience with fatalities? Unfortunately yes, however the employer was cleared of all wrongdoing. After a lengthy investigation, no OSHA citations were issued. What size projects have you been involved with? We have helped both small contractors with as few as 10 employees and large nation-wide contractors with as many as 900 employees. Some of our more recent, larger, projects include the Isle of Capri Casino, Target Distribution Center and Nationwide Insurance Expansion. What reports do you provide? As you probably know our government thrives on documentation. OSHA requires periodic safety inspections for your employees. We provide a professional "periodic safety inspection" and then fully document it. Documentation is then given to you, the employer. When an employee is injured or an OSHA inspector requests it, this documentation can prove to be invaluable. The inspection reports we provide to you are protected as an internal memo between professional and client. Documents are not forwarded to third parties unless written permission is granted from you, the employer. If OSHA requests documentation you will be able to keep their fax machine busy while we flood them with safety related documentation. The employer is required to train their employees and to document this training however very few employers fully comply with this requirement. With our help you will feel confident that you are not only complying but can prove it. Who provides discipline?First, discipline relating to safety is an essential part of your safety program. We can help in this matter but ultimately it's the employer's responsibility to discipline their employees. Keep in mind that if you didn't document your disciplinary action it didn't happen therefore it's especially important to document any disciplinary action as it relates to safety. |
